Some random musical thoughts...
This was a myspace thing but it will serve nicely to boost my post-count here since I've gotten grief for that lately.
1. Of all the bands & artists in your collection, which one do you own the most albums?
Either Steve Earle or Tom Waits - I'm too lazy to go look. No wait, it's definitely The Clash.
2. What was the last song you listened to?
Something I don't know the title of by violin virtuoso Vasyl Papadiuk.
3. What's in your CD player right now?
Butane Fumes and Bad Cologne by Big Rude Jake
4. What are your favorite instruments?
Tuned ones.
5. Who's your favorite local artists/bands?
I don't pick local favourites. Novillero? Anthem Red?
6. What was the last show you attended?
Kings of Leon, Spoon, & the Stooges at Stubb's. But I started the night at Emo's watching the Buzzcocks.
7. What was the greatest show you've ever been to?
The Pogues & Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bourges France

8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert?
I've seen so many bad bands I couldn't single one out. Although Badly Drawn Boy was pretty awful lately.
9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?
No idea.
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been?
I've done some musical stuff, yes, as a player and a soundguy and a promoter.
11. What show are you looking forward to?
Dan Bern April 29.
12. What is your favorite band shirt?
My Police Synchronicity shirt (RIP) - the first one I ever owned. Also my Nirvana Fudge Packer shirt (also RIP). Wore those bastards into submission.
13. What musicians would you like to hang out with for a day?
I wouldn't like to hang out with any musicians for a day. In fact, I'd like to go a day without hanging out with musicians.
14. What musicians would you like to be in love with you for a day?
Vanessa Paradis.
15. What was your last musical "phase" before you wizened up?
My "I don't like rap" phase.
16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy?
Sabbath.
17. Did you know that filling out this survey makes you a music geek?
I prefer the term "socially awkward."
18. What was the greatest decade for music?
I'd have to do some math to figure that out, but no decade is perfect or imperfect. the 1960s were pretty cool though for their mixture of garage rock, bubblegum, and soul.
19. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
High Fidelity, because the 13th Floor Elevators is such a good kickoff.
20. Where would you be without music?
A Customs agent in Vancouver.
21. Have you ever had sex while listening to a band live?
No, but I saw people having sex at a Bon Jovi concert.
22. Who is your favourite artist who is much better live than in a recording?
No idea yet again - too many to choose from.
23. Do you have a hidden desire to be a popular musician?
I just have a hidden desire to be popular.
24. Mp3s or jail time?
Since I live in Canada, I don't see how the two can be compared.
25. Have you ever fallen in love at a concert?
Lucinda.
26. Do you think people look sexy all sweaty from dancing?
I think sexy looking people still look sexy when they're all sweaty from dancing. Ugly people, well they just stay ugly.
27. Ever been injured in a mosh pit?
Only temporarily.
28. Have you ever used a body part as an instrument?
Skin flute?
29. Have you ever used drugs to enhance the music experience?
I don't really find drugs enhance much except my natural paranoia.
30. What was the last song you heard that gave you a chill, in any context?
