One more about Leon
In a follow up to the Fullerton-Schaumberg trade involving Nigel Thatch and a pallet of beer, the guy has refused to show up for spring training because - much like his TV character - he is demanding more money than the standard rookie contract offered in the Golden Baseball League.
Pretty strong words for a guy who's pro record in 7 starts was 0-3 with a 10.22 ERA. The best part is that "the league may seek to void the trade and request that Schaumburg return the beer" according to Our Sports Central.
