Quickie Update

It's 80% in favour of As It Happens right now. Did you know that the name of the song is "Curried Soul" and it was written by Moe Koffman, and that at one point AIH used a version of the tune done by Parachute Club? Wowzers.

Here's a Link to a CBC page reporting Mr. Koffman's death in 2001. You can hear Robert Fulford's Interview (and Babbs' intro) with him after he was awarded the Order of Canada in 1993, and even better, you can Listen to the AIH theme song in Real format.

(Thursday afternoon now...) Here is the email I got back from the folks at The Current. Their music is still lagging behind, but catching up slowly.
Our theme song doesn't have a name (as far as we know) but it was written by Adam Goddard, a local Toronto musician, songwriter and award winning documentary maker. We don't really have the theme music posted anywhere in particular (separately) on the website, but of course you can hear it on the
opening of all the RA files (parts 1 and 2) on the website.

A little Google search shows Mr. Goddard has done a lot of radio and music, and I think he plays the flute (as did Mr. Koffman...co-inky-dink or what!?). Then for fun, I typed in www.adamgoddard.com anmd found out way more about him than I could have hoped for. The best part is that he also composed the little trailer that plays right before the hourly news. Check it out here. This guy is AWESOME!
