My new favourite sport
My new favourite sport has GOT to be Grewal bashing. I've always been a fan of right-bashing, and in taking shots at writers, political leaders, talking heads, and so on. I've never been one for picking on little back-benchers, but lately I find that it's just way too much fun.
I am not a supporter of the Liberal Party - and since Paul Martin became PM, my good feelings towards them are even less than they once were. But as soon as this whole Grewal incident started, I figured there must be something about this guy. Why would the Liberals go after a nutbar like him if they needed to find someone to tip the balance? Someone who ran for the BC Reform party? Come on.
So anyway, the more info that has been coming out about this affair, the more entertaining it gets. Even if HALF of what they say about Grewal is true, it leads me to wonder how the guy can tie his own shoelaces, let alone sit as a Member of Parliament.
