Cops vs. Bikes in Winnipeg
Sometimes I think the young'uns are a little overzealous, and I don't think that Critical Mass should be used for things like protesting military exercises in our fair city. I do, however, think that motorists need to give their heads a shake and realize that bikes are a legit form of transport and that Winnipeg is WAY too into car culture to be healthy.
All that being said, I don't think cops should beat people up just for riding bikes. Nor do I think we need to send undercover cops out to beat the shit out of harmless little anarchists.
